Danielle Frieder, Psy.D.
My approach to therapy is one of warmth, collaboration, mutual respect, and non-judgment. Whether you’re undergoing a life transition, dissatisfied in your relationship(s), or just feeling anxious or down as a result of life’s ebbs and flows, I am passionate about helping you understand your experiences more deeply and ultimately find relief from your pain through self-exploration and meaning-making.
I am experienced in working with teens, adults, and couples who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, family conflict, and issues within their relationships. I draw upon well-established practices of psychodynamic, relational therapy, and mindfulness meditation to facilitate personal growth in a challenging, yet nurturing and safe space.
I also offer psychological evaluations of the following: academic accommodations for ADHD or other learning disorders, cognitive and intellectual testing, mood or behavioral assessment, trauma assessment, and identifying the nature and extent of a memory impairment.
